It's Madden, NHL, FIFA, MLB the Show, or any other major sporting league video game. The release of each athlete's ratings always sparks heated debates. When you release the rating of the entire team in a particular game, then it's natural to have a few crying fanatics, scorned rivals and feeling of snubbery.
The athletes themselves are even speaking about their ratings at times in order to bring the discussion further. Durant has done so this week, and so did an old teammate from Klay Thompson. Both were not happy with their scores, to at least. It's my belief that game developers do this for a reason. They issue ratings that are just controversial enough to stir up controversy without compromising the integrity of the game. In doing so, they encourage discussion about their latest game in the hopes that more people buy it.
That's why I'm sure I'm doing exactly what folks in NBA 2K want right now. And, of course, what else can we talk about? Whatever their motivations, the NBA 2K team has released their latest game featuring its ratings for players this week. This includes everyone on Brooklyn's 2022-23 roster. As expected, a few of their ratings appeared slightly off, even unacceptable.
J. Cole already made history by becoming the first rapper with the actual NBA 2K cover. Now, Dreamville artist Bas has revealed more information regarding the game's launch, including his likeness being used as a featured character.Bas shared images from NBA 2K23's most recent interaction with MyCAREER mode on Instagram on Thursday (September 1) and highlighted himself in a recording space with the mode's lead character and an engineer.
